We are currently looking for bright and talented people for the following open positions:  

·         JEN Employment Specialist  
Position Summary:  Under the direct supervision of the Community Programs Manager, and in close collaboration with the Jewish Programs Coordinator, Community Programs and Business Services team members, community partners, and employers, the JEN Employment Specialist provides initial assessments, job search and placement assistance to JEN participants. The JEN Employment Specialist acts as a liaison to the Jewish community and assists with outreach and marketing of services to the Jewish community and with coordinating JEN workshops, including facilitating regular job search workshops and job strategy groups. The JEN Employment Specialist will focus on services in the South Peninsula region and will need to travel to deliver workshops to multiple sites. Some work in San Francisco will be required.

·         Development Manager
Position Summary:  Reporting to the Development Director, the Development Manager is responsible for planning and implementing the annual giving programs, overseeing all aspects of the donor database (The Raiser’s Edge), and providing significant support for all fundraising efforts, including Strictly Business, JVS’s signature fundraising event.

·         Education/Employment Specialist - Healthcare Sector
Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Healthcare Sector Services Manager, and in close collaboration with staff at all collaborative partners, the Healthcare Employment Specialist is responsible for the recruitment, screening, enrollment, case management, and job placement assistance for job seeking healthcare clients. This position ensures effective integration of services for participants, including linkages to appropriate training programs, support service providers, One Stop Career Link services, and potential employers, as well as detailed tracking of participant progress. This position also designs and facilitates career service workshops and group presentations for potential and existing clients and works closely with instructional staff throughout the training process.

·         Employment Specialist/JSSI – Business Services
Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Business Services Manager, and in close collaboration with staff at the One Stop Career Center(s), the Employment Specialist/Job Search Skills Instructor provides job search and placement assistance to job seekers eligible for the SWAT program. This position conducts regular job search workshops and job search strategy groups for SWAT clients. Services provided could take place at One Stop Career Centers in San Francisco as well as at JVS.

·         Grants & Contracts Manager
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Controller and in collaboration with the Director of Planning and Program Development, the Grants & Contracts Manager will oversee the agency’s contractual obligations and related strategic planning, and will balance program concerns with contractual obligations using fiscal ability, creativity, and diplomacy.

·         TEEI Employment Specialist
Position Summary:  Under the direct supervision of the Community Programs Manager and in close collaboration with the other TEEI Employment Specialist, Community Programs and Business Services team members, The SF LGBT Community Center, Transgender Law Center, and employers, the Employment Specialist provides job search and placement assistance to TEEI clients.
