California voters overwhelmingly passed Proposition 47, the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act in November 2014. Come hear about this historic reform and what other reforms are needed. Learn about its intended and actual impact on reduced sentencing for nonviolent drug offenses, easing of prison overcrowding, efforts to increase funding for drug treatment programs, affected crimes and exceptions, as well as how Prop 47 affects your clients.
